Widely recognized throughout the world of Rotary as the "Guru" of Matching Grants and socio-civic projects, Dr. Ignacio S. Pablo has been an esteemed bastion in the academe most of his professional life. His expertise further extends to being a much valued consultant in the field of Food Science Technology, obtaining a range of degrees from various educational institutions throughout the years.

He holds degrees in A.B. Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila University, B.S. Chemical Engineering from Manuel L. Quezon University and has completed a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and M.S. in Food Science from the University of California. This distinguished gentlemen can also be counted among the very first Filipinos to attain a Doctorate of Science in Food Science from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Pablo is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Rizal West (District 3830) and continually serves his club and the district through the service projects he spearheads. He is likewise involved in leadership and visionary capacities in the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP), Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines (COHREP), and Approtech Asia.
